The Borovets Snowmobile Tour is running daily during the winter season. The total duration of this high-adrenaline experience is around 1 hour, including 5-10 minutes for safety instructions. The starting point is at the main entrance of the hotel Rila. The first possible departure is at 11 am and the last one – at 7 pm. You can select your preferred starting time during the booking process. Please, be there at least 15 minutes earlier! 

During the Snowmobile tour, your English-speaking instructor will take care of your safety and lead you through the scenic paths of the Rila mountain’s pine forests. You will be rewarded with unforgettable views to some of the most beautiful and pristine parts of the highest mountain on the Balkan Peninsula! 

Prices:

Shared option (2 people share 1 Ski-doo and swap driving half-way): 44 euros per adult, and 19 euros per child, younger than 16 years of age.

Solo option (1 person driving 1 Ski-doo): 75 euros per person

• Motor Sledge (Ski-doo) tour for 1 hour (helmet included) 
• A qualified English-speaking instructor

• Food, and other personal expenses

Who can participate? Is a driving license required?

Driving license is not required, but only travellers above the age of 16 are allowed to drive a snowmobile. If you are younger, you can only ride behind an adult. The experience is not appropriate for children under the age of 5! 

What to bring:

Bring gloves, and wear warm shoes! If you do not have ski jackets, and pants, you are welcome to rent ones from our Ski & Board Shop, located at the nearby hotel Ela! Don’t forget your goggles as well!
